The mission of Saint Simon Document Assistance Foundation, Inc. is to support low-income and underserved individuals and families by helping them understand and complete important personal and administrative documents. We provide document translation, clear explanations of forms, and guidance with pro se dissolution of marriage forms, tax forms, and other commonly required documents. Through these services, as well as family mediation and life coaching, we aim to promote access to information, strengthen families, and improve the well-being of individuals in our community.

Current Services
Document Translation
We translate documents from Spanish to English and English to Spanish, including forms, letters, and official records. Our team ensures accuracy and clarity and explains the content and purpose of each document so clients can fully understand and complete personal or administrative processes with confidence.
Pro Se Dissolution of Marriage
We assist individuals in completing necessary forms, understanding the process, and submitting documents to the court. While we do not provide legal advice, our support makes the process more accessible for low-income and underserved individuals pursuing uncontested or straightforward divorces.
Free Notary Services
We provide free notary services for individuals and families, with a focus on those who may have difficulty accessing notaries elsewhere.
Life Coaching Services
Led by our life coach, Sandra Padilla, we help individuals and families navigate major life transitions, including divorce, the loss of a loved one, or arriving as a new immigrant. Through personalized guidance, clients develop actionable plans and build confidence.
Family Mediation Services
Led by our Florida Supreme Court Certified mediator, Rafael Padilla, we assist families in resolving conflicts, including parenting plans and custody arrangements. Mediation is voluntary and collaborative, helping families reach fair solutions while maintaining respect and dignity.
Future Services
Immigration Services
Saint Simon does not currently provide immigration services, including legal advice, representation, or preparation of immigration forms. We are exploring the requirements to seek recognition from the Department of Justice (DOJ) to offer authorized immigration services in the future. For now, we provide referrals to nonprofit organizations and local attorneys.
Tax Preparation Services
We will assist low-income individuals and families with accurate tax filing, claiming all eligible credits and deductions, and meeting deadlines. Our goal is to make tax preparation affordable, accessible, and stress-free, helping clients manage their finances confidently.
